These works come from an ongoing series of images titled “Let Me Hide Inside You”. These works are made by opening up images as text files, adding the titles or other text snippets and then converting the text files back to images. I began making these in 2009 as a way to send messages to people without them being explicitly aware of it. By playing with what text I added to the image files and where it was placed, I could keep the image looking as it did before, or alter it. In one way I could hide messages in plain sight, and in another I could allow metadata such as the title or extra information to become part of the visuals of the image itself.
